The lovely Pheobe. She was rescued from the wheel well of a Volvo when she was a kitten after riding 30 miles to KTLA (my mother's work). My mom took her home. She was deaf and ha gotten some grit in her eye but 3 years later she's alive and well!

One of my cats was also rescued from a car. She climbed into the engine bay of a Lada, and could not get out. It was a very hot day in June, she started meowing like hell. I asked the cops for help, they were very helpful, found the owner (wasn't easy). That was 8 years ago...
